Motivation is the word derived from the word 'motive' which means needs, desires, wants or drives within the individuals. It is the process of stimulating people to actions to accomplish the goals. According to scientists, motivation is a person's general willingness to do something. It forces you to take actions. Most of the time people makes their motivation a ritual instead of a habit which isn't usually a good thing because this makes their motivation temporary. For a person to achieve their goals, motivation to do so is needed but it is hard to stay motivated especially when there are lots of distractions around you. This is when we start procrastinating. So, instead of making a ritual, we gotta build a habit. Have a routine. Just like the article said, "Life is a constant balance between giving into the ease of distraction or overcoming the pain of discipline." So, for us to know if our motives are right we have to know ourselves, and why we want to achieve a certain goal because this will stand us our motivation.

Continuous improvement is an ongoing effort to improve in something. These efforts can result in gradual improvement over time or a sudden improvement all at once. It usually takes time to better something but that doesn't mean that you should just give up and not make an effort anymore. Just like the article said, "small choices don't make much of a difference at the time, but add up over the long-term." Patience is one of the main thing that you'll need to improve, you have to understand that you can't possibly change drastically overnight. For example, if you want to lose weight, one day of exercising and dieting will not make this happen. Instead, making it a lifestyle and patiently waiting until you have achieved what you desire is the way to improve. Everything is a working progress and having lots of patience is a great way in achieving a much better, long lasting improvement. We all have goals. Whether it's for school, our future, family or just improving ourselves. These goals are good since they are the foundation of our success but just having goals without changing your habits to achieve it won't lead you to success. A successful person worked hard to be one, they did not just sit there and thought about their goal without putting in work. Just like the picture above, there are stages into achieving success and as you can see, goal isn't the last stage. Action and strategy are the two last stages before success. Thinking about why you want to achieve that goal; having a motivation is also one of the biggest component you need. According to the article we read, "goals are good for planning your progress and systems are good for actually making progress." You gotta build a system that is appropriate for you to be able to achieve that goal. Remember that a successful person did not become successful through a miracle, it was through determination and their hard work.
